Schedule:
- Variable days and afternoons
- Primarily 8-hour day shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and verify medication orders; review medication profiles for appropriateness
- Deliver clinical pharmacy services tailored to patient needs in ED and ICU
- Provide drug information and participate in patient care rounds with multi-disciplinary teams
- Conduct drug therapy monitoring and pharmacist-managed consults per established protocols
- Actively participate in acute patient care scenarios including cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- Postgraduate Year 1 (PGY1) residency or a minimum of three years clinical pharmacy experience
- Licensed to practice pharmacy in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Familiarity with Meditech IT system is advantageous
