Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the inpatient pharmacist, overseeing medication management and ensuring safe, effective pharmaceutical care.
• Participate in sterile compounding activities, maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize medication therapy for patients.
• Support the pharmacy department including order entry using Cerner and medication distribution via Pyxis automation.
• Take on-call responsibilities for after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Pharmacy license in the state of New Mexico is required.
• Experience operating in a hospital inpatient environment.
• Familiarity with sterile compounding procedures.
• Proficiency with Cerner order entry system and Pyxis automation preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a small pharmacy team.

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
• Day shift hours approximately from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• On-call duties may be required outside regular hours.
