A healthcare facility in Metairie, LA is seeking two Transplant/Clinical Pharmacist Specialists for a 13-week contract assignment starting Monday, May 4th. Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize pharmacotherapy plans for solid organ transplant patients
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers
• Monitor patient progress and adjust medications to ensure safe, effective outcomes
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation and communication
• Participate in weekend shift rotations, working daytime hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of transplant pharmacy experience required
• Completion of a PGY-2 Solid Organ Transplant residency preferred; candidates with PGY-1 and transplant support experience are encouraged to apply
• Licensed to practice pharmacy in Louisiana (license must be current at the start of assignment)
• Board Certification is preferred, but not mandatory
