A healthcare facility in Wisconsin is seeking three inpatient pharmacists to provide clinical pharmacy services for a 13-week contract starting May 11. This role involves working a combination of day and evening shifts, with rotating weekends every third week. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient experience and hold a valid Wisconsin pharmacy license or an ACT-10 license, which is accepted for this assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy support in an acute inpatient setting
- Perform pharmacokinetic and renal dosing adjustments
- Conduct therapeutic medication monitoring and manage drug shortages
- Oversee pharmacotherapy management tailored to various medical conditions
- Document patient care activities in the EPIC electronic medical record system
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- At least 2 years of recent inpatient or acute care pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacokinetic and renal dosing methodologies
- Familiarity with managing therapeutic drug monitoring and drug shortage protocols
- Experience with EPIC EMR documentation
- Valid Wisconsin pharmacy license or enrollment under ACT-10 license provisions
Additional Details:
- Shift schedule includes 5 eight-hour shifts per week, rotating every third weekend
- Mask fit testing is required; travelers must be clean-shaven to ensure proper mask seal, as personal PAPRs or CAPRs will not be permitted onsite
- Facility provides scrubs to all staff upon start
