Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Milwaukee, Wisconsin

An opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to provide inpatient services on a 13-week contract in Milwaukee, WI. This role requires advanced knowledge of acute care pharmacy practices within a hospital setting, supporting optimal therapeutic outcomes for diverse patient populations.

Location: Milwaukee, WI
Contract Duration: 13 weeks beginning June 8
Schedule:

• Rotating 5x8-hour shifts
• Mix of day shifts (6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and evening shifts (2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)
• Rotation includes working every third weekend

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver clinical inpatient pharmacy care, ensuring accurate pharmacotherapy management
• Perform pharmacokinetic and renal dosing
• Monitor therapeutic medication levels critically
• Manage drug shortage protocols and maintain medication availability
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for medication order processing and documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient medication regimens

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in inpatient or acute care pharmacy
• Proficiency in clinical pharmacotherapy and inpatient treatment protocols
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
• Active Wisconsin ACT-10 pharmacist license

Additional Requirements:

• Compliance with mask fit testing: all travelers must be clean-shaven to pass fit testing for N95 masks; personal CAPRs and PAPRs are not permitted on-site
• Scrubs will be provided upon start
