A healthcare facility in Wisconsin is seeking experienced inpatient pharmacists to provide clinical pharmacy services. This contract role offers a 13-week assignment starting June 8th, working a rotating schedule of day and evening shifts in an inpatient setting.
The schedule includes:
- Five 8-hour shifts per week
- Rotating every third weekend
- Day shifts: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- Evening shifts: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering expert inpatient and acute care pharmacy services
- Managing pharmacokinetic and renal dosing adjustments
- Performing therapeutic medication monitoring
- Addressing drug shortages efficiently
- Managing pharmacotherapy tailored to medical conditions within the patient population
- Utilizing the EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation and communication
Qualified candidates will have:
- A minimum of 2 years recent inpatient pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in acute care pharmacy practices and drug management protocols
- An active Wisconsin pharmacist license (ACT-10 license holders eligible)
- Ability to comply with mask fit testing requirements (must be clean-shaven to seal properly; use of personal PAPRs or CAPRs is prohibited)
- Willingness to wear provided scrubs once the assignment begins
