Clinical Pharmacist in Milwaukee, WI

A clinical pharmacist position is available through a contract-to-hire opportunity in Milwaukee, WI. This role requires a strong background in sterile compounding and home infusion pharmacy, with recent hands-on experience in IV preparation and verification.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• On-call every 4th weekend and one night per week

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Wisconsin pharmacist license
• Minimum of 2 years recent sterile compounding experience, particularly within sterile environments
• Recent IV experience is mandatory
• CPR certification is preferred
• At least 2 years of recent home infusion experience is desired

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify intravenous (IV) orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Prepare and mix IV medications within the clean room, ensuring sterile compounding standards
• Perform other clinical pharmacy duties as assigned, contributing to patient care and safety

This opportunity requires commitment to a minimum 6-month contract period before potential conversion to a permanent role. Candidates must be willing to fulfill the contract requirement.
