Responsibilities:
- Dispense and review medications accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy
- Monitor patient outcomes and provide drug information and education to medical staff
- Participate in medication management and safety initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and hospital policies
Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico pharmacist license required
- Experience in clinical hospital pharmacy preferred
- Strong knowledge of medication therapies, drug interactions, and patient counseling
- Ability to work independently in a smaller hospital setting
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
