Clinical Pharmacist in Moxee, WA

A 13-week opportunity is available for a clinical pharmacist at a 230-bed acute care hospital near Yakima, WA. This contract role may lead to a permanent position and requires a Washington pharmacist license. Flexible schedules accommodate various preferences, with day and night shift options.

Location:

• Moxee, WA (near Yakima)

Schedule:

• Option 1: Four 10-hour day shifts per week
• Option 2: 7 on/7 off schedule with 12-hour night shifts (6 pm to 6 am)

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure optimal workflow
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff on medication management
• Perform pharmacokinetic assessments and dosing adjustments as needed
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated medication dispensing systems

Qualifications:

• Valid Washington State Pharmacist License
• Experience in a hospital or acute care pharmacy setting preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
