Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist | Mustang, Oklahoma

This opportunity offers a rewarding role providing clinical pharmacy services in a dynamic inpatient setting with a patient census of 40 and high acuity. This position supports a well-established pharmacy team composed of two pharmacists and two pharmacy technicians, delivering critical care through collaborative practice with physicians and nursing staff.

Schedule:

• Consistent PRN coverage needed, 3-4 times per week
• Weekday shifts: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekend shifts: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate pharmacist preferences
• On-call availability preferred for 24/7 coverage support, with flexibility welcomed

Responsibilities:

• Perform general inpatient staffing duties to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Provide oversight and support for pharmacy technicians
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing teams to optimize patient care
• Offer clinical support as needed to address complex medication therapy issues
• Utilize WellSky system and Pyxis automation for medication management and distribution

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Pharmacist license required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule for PRN and on-call availability
• Strong team-oriented approach, committed to effective collaboration and communication
