Clinical Pharmacist - Naperville, Illinois

An opportunity is available for a clinical pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations at a major medical center. This contract role is based in Naperville, IL, and requires overnight shifts covering four 10-hour shifts weekly, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., over a 13-week period starting mid-June.

Responsibilities include performing typical inpatient pharmacy duties such as checking and verifying medication orders, supervising pharmacy technicians, and verifying intravenous (IV) preparations. The position also involves working within the EPIC electronic medical record system to ensure accurate documentation and patient safety.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an inpatient clinical pharmacy setting.
• Experience with IV verification and medication order processing.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR preferred.
• Ability to supervise pharmacy technicians effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.

Schedule:

• Overnight shift.
• 4 shifts per week.
• 10-hour shifts from 9:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
