Clinical Pharmacist - Naperville, Illinois

An overnight clinical pharmacist role is available to support inpatient care at a major medical center's main campus. This position involves working four 10-hour shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, starting mid-June for a 13-week period. The role requires thorough knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations and familiarity with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting medication order verification and clinical checks
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow and accuracy
• Performing IV medication verification and preparation oversight
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with at least one year of recent inpatient experience
• Proficient with EPIC EMR system or equivalent clinical software
