An opportunity is available for a dedicated Pharmacist to contribute to inpatient pharmacy services within a hospital setting. This direct hire position is based in Utica, NY, working primarily during day and afternoon shifts. Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and dispense medications accurately, including proper dosing, labeling, and handling of IV and controlled substances
• Monitor patient medication profiles for potential interactions, allergies, and discrepancies, resolving issues proactively
• Provide timely and evidence-based drug information to healthcare providers to support clinical decision-making
• Prepare sterile compounds and IV admixtures following USP guidelines to meet patient needs safely
• Manage pharmacy operations including inventory control, regulatory compliance, and maintaining an organized and clean workspace
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid NY Pharmacist License
• Completion of PGY1 residency or demonstrated strong inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
