An exceptional opportunity is available for an Inpatient Pharmacist to join a respected hospital setting in Utica, NY. This direct hire role focuses on ensuring the safe, effective use of medications within the inpatient environment, supporting both distributive and operational pharmacy functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately verify and dispense medications, including dosing, labeling, and managing IV and controlled substances
  • Monitor patient medication profiles for potential interactions and allergies, proactively resolving any medication-related concerns
  • Provide timely drug information and clinical support to healthcare providers to optimize patient care
  • Prepare sterile products, including IV admixtures, adhering strictly to USP compounding standards
  • Assist with inventory management, regulatory compliance, and maintain organized, sanitary pharmacy workspaces

Qualifications:

  • Active New York State Pharmacist License
  • Completion of PGY1 residency or substantial inpatient hospital pharmacy experience is required
  • Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations and medication safety protocols
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Schedule:

  • Day and afternoon shifts
