A healthcare facility near New Orleans, LA is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist with critical care experience to support their transplant program on a 13-week contract. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply specialized pharmacy skills within a fast-paced hospital environment.

Location: Near New Orleans, LA
Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: Days, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, including weekend rotation
Start Date: June 2

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical pharmacy support focused on solid organ transplant patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate medication therapy management in critical care settings
  • Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and communication
  • Participate in weekend coverage on a rotating schedule

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year transplant pharmacy experience required
  • PGY-2 Solid Organ Transplant residency preferred, but candidates with PGY-1 and transplant support experience will be considered
  • Active Louisiana pharmacy license required
  • Board certification highly desired, but not mandatory
  • Proficiency with the EPIC electronic medical record system
