Clinical Pharmacist - New Orleans, LA

A healthcare facility in the New Orleans area is seeking a Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist to join their team on a 13-week contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic critical care environment, covering the Cardiovascular ICU and Medical ICU2.

Location: New Orleans, LA

Schedule/Hours:

• Days, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Every other week schedule (EOW)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services within the CV ICU and Medical ICU2 units
• Support the multidisciplinary care team with medication therapy management for critically ill patients
• Utilize EPIC EMR to document and coordinate pharmacy interventions
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and state regulations

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Critical Care/Clinical Pharmacist
• Prior exposure to Level 1 trauma center pharmacy services is required
• PGY-2 residency preferred but not mandatory
• Must hold a current Louisiana pharmacy license
• Board certification in pharmacy practice (BCPS or equivalent) preferred, but not required
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is essential
• Open to first-time travel pharmacists willing to relocate for the assignment
