Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist in New York, NY

This Per Diem clinical pharmacist position offers an opportunity to provide essential outpatient pharmacy services in a dynamic, newer pharmacy located in a densely populated Hasidic Jewish neighborhood. The pharmacy maintains a manageable prescription volume and benefits from dedicated technician support, allowing you to focus on quality patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

• Saturday 5/16: 4 PM – 12 AM
• Saturday 5/23: 4 PM – 12 AM
• Saturday 5/30: 10 AM – 6 PM

Responsibilities:

• Filling and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Conducting patient consultations to ensure proper medication use
• Managing and supervising pharmacy technicians during shifts
• Providing immunizations, requiring valid New York State immunization privileges
• Opening and closing pharmacy operations in accordance with best practices

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed clinical pharmacist with retail experience, specifically in opening and closing a pharmacy
• Ability to perform immunizations with New York State privileges
• Familiarity with Rx30 software is highly preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills suited for serving a unique patient population
