Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist | New York, New York

Deliver pharmaceutical care as a Clinical Pharmacist providing per diem coverage in a vibrant outpatient setting located in a highly populated Hasidic Jewish neighborhood in New York, NY. This position offers flexible shifts with a manageable prescription volume in a newer pharmacy supported by a pharmacy technician team and familiar pharmacy software.

Schedule:

• Saturday 5/16: 4 PM – 12 AM
• Saturday 5/23: 4 PM – 12 AM
• Saturday 5/30: 10 AM – 6 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Conduct patient consultations to ensure adherence and understanding
• Manage pharmacy technicians and daily workflow
• Provide immunizations in accordance with New York State regulations (NYS immunization privilege required)
• Open and close the pharmacy, ensuring all protocols and safety standards are met

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with valid NY state licensure
• Retail pharmacy experience, specifically handling opening and closing duties
• Proficiency or familiarity with Rx30 pharmacy software is highly preferred, though not mandatory
• Immunization certification authorized in NYS
• Strong communication skills for diverse patient interactions
