Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist in New York, NY

Provide professional clinical pharmacy services in a dynamic outpatient setting within a highly populated Hasidic Jewish neighborhood. This per diem role offers an opportunity to work in a newer pharmacy with manageable prescription volumes, supported by pharmacy technicians and a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical outpatient and retail pharmacy duties including filling and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct patient consultations to ensure safe and effective medication use.
• Manage pharmacy technicians and oversee daily pharmacy operations.
• Administer immunizations, requiring valid New York State immunization privileges.
• Assist with opening and closing the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and operational standards.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with retail pharmacy experience.
• Proven ability to open and close a pharmacy independently.
• Familiarity with Rx30 software highly preferred but not mandatory.
• Possession of New York State immunization privilege is required.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare providers.

• Position is based in New York, NY, servicing a community with specific cultural sensitivities.

Schedule:

• Per diem coverage with scheduled shifts as follows: • Saturday 5/16: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM • Saturday 5/23: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM • Saturday 5/30: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
