Inpatient Pharmacist 13-Week Contract in Virginia

We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have strong inpatient pharmacy experience, IV experience, and proficiency with medication order verification and EPIC charting.

The pharmacist will also support inpatient medication management, review and verify medication orders, assist with safe and appropriate medication therapy, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.

Shift Options
Day Shifts: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Evening Shifts: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Overnight Shifts:7:30 PM – 7:30 AM, 8:30 PM – 7:30 AM

Required Experience & Skills
-Minimum 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience
-IV pharmacy experience required
-Experience with pain-controlled analgesia
-Antibiotic therapy
-Drug interactions
-Medication order entry and verification
-EPIC charting experience required
-Travel pharmacy experience preferred

-Chemotherapy

-Pharmacokinetic dosing
-Renal dosing
