Clinical Pharmacist - Niles, MI

A healthcare facility near South Bend, IN, is seeking two inpatient pharmacists for a contract position based in Niles, MI, starting June 1st for a 13-week assignment. Candidates will work in an inpatient pharmacy setting utilizing Cerner EMR, Pyxis, and Pharmacy Keeper software.

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders using Cerner Meds Manager
• Managing hospital medication distribution and IV room preparation
• Handling inpatient medications such as IV antibiotics, anticoagulants, and electrolytes
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and safe medication use

Schedule Options:

• Days, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM (1 position)
• Days/Evenings, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM (1 position)

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Cerner order verification is required
• Experience with inpatient hospital pharmacy services and IV preparation
• Familiarity with Pyxis and Pharmacy Keeper systems
• New graduates are considered only if they have Cerner Meds Manager order verification experience
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
