Schedule Options:

• Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Overnight Shift: 8:30 PM – 7:30 AM (Monday – Thursday), 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM (Friday – Sunday; working 7 nights on/7 nights off)

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and process medication orders accurately
• Monitor drug interactions and manage pain control with analgesics
• Administer intravenous medications and manage antibiotic therapies
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal patient drug therapies
• Utilize clinical knowledge for pharmacokinetic and renal dosing considerations (preferred)
• Manage chemotherapy and anticoagulant medications (preferred)

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Virginia pharmacist license required at submission
• Minimum of 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience, with travel experience preferred
• Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records system is mandatory
• Strong understanding of intravenous medication administration and order entry
• Familiarity with pain control, antibiotics, and drug interaction management
