Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist - Norman, Oklahoma

Location:

• Norman, OK

Schedule:

• Consistent PRN coverage 3-4 times per week
• Weekday shifts: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekend shifts: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• On-call availability preferred (24/7 coverage ideal, based on availability)
• Collaborative scheduling aligned with pharmacist team needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide general inpatient pharmacy staffing and clinical support
• Complete order verification efficiently and accurately
• Oversee and support pharmacy technicians
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Utilize hospital pharmacy system WellSky and Pyxis automation to enhance workflow

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license required
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Flexibility to work PRN shifts and provide on-call support
• Strong teamwork skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Team Environment:

• Work alongside a team of 2 pharmacists and 2 pharmacy technicians
• Manage a patient census averaging 40 with high acuity demands
