Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist | Norman, Oklahoma

A clinical pharmacist position is available to provide essential inpatient pharmacy support in a healthcare setting serving a patient census of approximately 40, characterized by high acuity. This per diem role requires flexible and consistent PRN coverage, offering weekday and weekend shifts with potential on-call availability to support 24/7 pharmacy services.

Schedule:

• 3-4 shifts per week (PRN coverage)
• Weekdays: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekends: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• On-call coverage preferred to assist as needed

Work Environment:

• Collaborative team of 2 pharmacists and 2 pharmacy technicians
• Utilizes WellSky system and Pyxis automation for medication management

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct general inpatient pharmacy staffing duties, including order verification
• Provide pharmacist oversight and support to pharmacy technicians
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Deliver clinical support as required to address complex medication-related needs

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license required
• Prior hospital experience is preferred
• Demonstrated flexibility to accommodate PRN shifts and on-call assignments
