Seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist with expertise in sterile compounding to support a specialty compounding pharmacy focused on personalized pharmaceutical preparations tailored to patient needs. This 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity involves working closely with both sterile and non-sterile production teams to ensure the highest standards of compliance, safety, and quality in all compounded medications.

Location: Kennett Square, PA
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the accurate preparation of compounded sterile and non-sterile medications in accordance with master formula worksheets
  • Implement and uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance
  • Adhere to USP <795>, <797>, and <800> guidelines for compounding practices
  • Ensure proper cleaning and garbing protocols are followed consistently
  • Perform necessary calculations and complete documentation meticulously
  • Operate production equipment safely and maintain quality assurance standards
  • Utilize correct aseptic techniques and prepare work areas thoroughly before production
  • Conduct quality control tests and inspections to verify compounded product accuracy
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging compounding methodologies, formulations, and technologies
  • Provide support and guidance to prescription dispensing personnel during shift

Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license
  • Recent pharmacy experience with a strong background in sterile compounding
  • Ability to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality is critical
