Clinical Pharmacist | Norristown, Pennsylvania

This contract opportunity is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist with specialized skills in home infusion to support a specialty pharmacy unit at a well-known university campus. The position starts immediately and lasts for approximately 13 weeks, with a consistent Monday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Key responsibilities include performing clinical evaluations, verifying prescriptions, and supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure safe and effective medication use. The role also requires the ability to gown up and prepare intravenous (IV) infusions when necessary, highlighting a balance between hands-on technical duties and clinical oversight.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Strong background in home infusion pharmacy practice
• Ability to perform IV admixture preparation confidently
• Experience with Brightree pharmacy software is advantageous, though not required
• Current and active PA pharmacist license in good standing
