A well-established 200-bed hospital in the Philadelphia suburbs is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with hospital experience looking to utilize their skills in a dynamic healthcare setting. The position offers a 13-week assignment with day shifts focused on impactful clinical pharmacy practices.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support
• Consult with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapies and patient care
• Manage pharmacokinetics to optimize dosing and therapeutic outcomes
• Collaborate within the healthcare team to support patient safety and effective treatment plans

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices and pharmacokinetics
