This opportunity is for a Clinical Hospital Staff Pharmacist to support inpatient care in a hospital setting. The role involves rotating shifts between first and second shift, contributing to high-quality patient outcomes through expert medication management in a dynamic clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient hospital, ensuring safe and effective medication use.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapies, with a focus on complex clinical cases including oncology patients.
- Manage and review medication orders using the Cerner electronic health record system.
- Participate in rotational weekend shifts to maintain consistent pharmacy coverage.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and state pharmacy regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Illinois pharmacy license is required.
- Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience is essential.
- Oncology pharmacy experience is preferred, offering opportunity to apply specialized knowledge.

Shift and Schedule:
- Rotating 1st and 2nd shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM and 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM

- Contract term is 13 weeks with possible extension.
