Clinical Pharmacist - North Chicago, IL

A clinical hospital staff pharmacist role is available in an inpatient hospital setting in North Chicago, IL. This 13-week contract position offers the potential for extension and involves working a rotating schedule between the first and second shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities include providing expert clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient environment, participating in medication therapy management, ensuring safe and effective medication use, and collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes. Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records will support daily operational efficiency.

Schedule/Hours:

• Rotating first shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Rotating second shift: 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM
• Rotating weekends

Preferred qualifications for this position include strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience and familiarity with oncology pharmacy practices. Cerner system experience is considered a plus. Candidates must hold a valid Illinois pharmacy license and have signed any necessary agreements prior to starting.
