An immediate opening is available for two experienced IV/Infusion Pharmacists to support specialty pharmacy operations in North Las Vegas, NV. This role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment requiring clinical expertise in specialty therapies and infusion pharmacy practices. This is an 8-10 week contract with a quick start for candidates who hold an active Nevada pharmacist license and have a background in specialty, infusion, or compounding pharmacy settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee prescription review, verification, and dispensing while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards including State Board of Pharmacy, FDA, DEA, URAC, and ACHC.
  • Provide patient counseling and manage medication therapy specifically for specialty disease states.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns, fostering a collaborative operational environment.
  • Collaborate closely with Intake, Referral, and Clinical teams for seamless onboarding and prescription fulfillment.
  • Support documentation processes, quality assurance programs, and incident resolution activities.
  • Maintain accurate pharmacy records and ensure adherence to operational workflows.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation on weekends as needed.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Nevada Pharmacist License (mandatory)
  • BS or PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Specialty, Infusion, or Compounding experience required; retail-only backgrounds are not suitable.
  • 1-2 years’ experience preferred in Specialty, Infusion, Hospital, or related pharmacy environments.
  • Strong understanding of specialty therapies, patient qualification processes, and pharmacy operations.
  • Experience working with or supervising pharmacy technicians.
  • Familiarity with CareTend software is preferred.
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, leadership skills, and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant pharmacy software.
  • Ability to work onsite during regular business hours Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Weekend on-call rotation
