Clinical Pharmacist - Oak Park, IL

A 13-week contract opportunity is available for an Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist at a busy facility in Oak Park, IL. This role requires a proactive individual ready to contribute to quality patient care in a dynamic inpatient setting. Timely action is essential to secure this position.

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties including order entry, medication verification, and supervision of pharmacy technicians
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and safe medication use
• Monitor patient medication therapies and make recommendations as needed
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist license (in-hand) required
• Solid clinical knowledge and inpatient pharmacy experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to oversee technician work
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Schedule:

• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• Rotation includes days, evenings, and weekends to support 24/7 pharmacy operations
