Clinical Pharmacist - Oak Park, Illinois

A clinical pharmacist position is available for a 13-week contract starting June 1st at a healthcare facility located in Oak Park, IL (west of downtown Chicago). This role involves supporting inpatient pharmacy operations with a variety of key responsibilities during day shifts and rotating weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient clinical pharmacy duties such as medication verification and order checking
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate and efficient workflow
• Verify IV admixtures and support sterile product preparation
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system to document and track medication orders

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient clinical pharmacy experience
• Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy procedures, including medication verification and IV checking
• Experience working with EPIC EMR preferred
• Effective communication and supervisory skills

Schedule:

• Day shift: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Rotating weekends
