Per Diem Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to provide essential inpatient support in a dynamic hospital environment in Oklahoma City, OK. This per diem role offers flexible scheduling with consistent PRN coverage needed 3-4 times per week, including weekday and weekend shifts. You will be an integral part of a dedicated pharmacy team comprising two pharmacists and two pharmacy technicians, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality clinical care to a patient census of approximately 40, characterized by high acuity.

Schedule:

• Weekdays: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekends: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• On-call availability preferred for 24/7 coverage support (flexibility appreciated)
• Coverage coordinated with pharmacist schedules

Responsibilities:

• Provide general inpatient pharmacy staffing and order verification
• Oversee and support pharmacy technicians to ensure safe medication use
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Deliver clinical support as required, responding effectively to high-acuity patient needs
• Utilize WellSky system and Pyxis automation to manage medication processes efficiently

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Pharmacist license required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
