Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist in Oklahoma City, OK

This position offers per diem opportunities for a clinical pharmacist to provide essential inpatient pharmacy services in a high-acuity hospital environment. Located in Oklahoma City, OK, the role involves working closely with a dedicated team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to support patient care.

Schedule:

• Consistent PRN coverage required, 3-4 times per week
• Weekday shifts: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekend shifts: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Schedule coordinated in collaboration with pharmacists on-site
• On-call availability preferred to provide 24/7 coverage support or as available

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver general inpatient staffing including order verification and medication management
• Provide oversight and support to pharmacy technicians
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and nursing staff to optimize pharmacological care
• Offer clinical pharmacy support tailored to patient needs

Systems and tools include WellSky for pharmacy management and Pyxis automation devices for medication dispensing.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Active Pharmacist license required
• Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred
• Flexibility to accommodate PRN and on-call schedules
• Strong collaboration and team-focused communication skills
