Clinical Pharmacist - Owasso, Oklahoma

An opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist with inpatient experience to support a 450-bed facility. This 13-week contract-to-hire position offers a structured schedule of 4x10-hour shifts, working days and evenings from 12:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Candidates located within 75 miles will not be considered, and first-time travelers are welcome.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient clinical pharmacy duties with a focus on IV preparation and verification.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring accuracy and compliance in medication handling.
• Utilize EMR systems, specifically EPIC, for patient medication management.
• Work with automation systems including Pyxis and Carousel to support medication dispensing.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience, including hands-on IV preparation.
• Current Pharmacy license for Oklahoma (in-hand) is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to adapt to both day and evening shifts as scheduled.
• Willingness to undertake a travel assignment, given the location requirements.
