A healthcare facility in Oxnard, CA, is seeking two skilled Clinical Pharmacists to provide inpatient pharmacy services within a medical center. This full-time contract opportunity offers the potential for temp-to-hire conversion, with an expected assignment duration of approximately 3 to 6 months and an immediate start.

Location:

• Oxnard, CA (Ventura County Medical Center)

Schedule:

• Full-time hours
• Typically 4 ten-hour shifts per week, with occasional 8-hour shifts depending on the pharmacy location
• Variable shifts including swing shifts, some weekends, and possible holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive clinical pharmacy support to inpatient units
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and state regulations
• Participate in medication management, including review and verification of orders

Desired Qualifications:

• Current California Pharmacist license required
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records preferred; training can be provided if needed
