We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a 200-bed community hospital in Florida. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys working in a collaborative hospital environment and is comfortable working overnight shifts.
Location: Florida
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: 13 weeks+, with potential for extension
Schedule: Night shift — schedule flexibility available
Responsibilities
-Verify medication orders and ensure safe, accurate medication use
-Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
-Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
-Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
-Provide clinical pharmacy support and medication-related consultation
-Perform other inpatient pharmacy duties as needed
Systems: EPIC, Pyxis
Ideal Candidate
-Active Florida Pharmacist License
-Previous hospital/inpatient pharmacy experience
-Comfortable and willing to work night shifts
-Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
-Able to work effectively in a fast-paced community hospital environment
