The role involves working with inpatient pediatric populations and utilizing EPIC software to support medication management and patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Variable days or afternoon shifts
  • 8-hour shifts

Location:

  • Palo Alto, CA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clinical pharmacy services to an inpatient pediatric setting, ensuring safe and effective medication use
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize therapeutic outcomes for pediatric patients
  • Utilize EPIC software effectively for medication documentation and management
  • Support patient care through medication review, monitoring, and consultation

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Licensed pharmacist with hospital inpatient and clinical pharmacy experience
  • Familiarity with pediatric inpatient care is highly preferred
  • Experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems
  • PGY1 residency training or equivalent experience valued, with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to adapt to variable shifts and work effectively within a collaborative multidisciplinary team
