Travel Outpatient Pharmacist AZ

A tribal hospital in Arizona is seeking a full-time Travel Pharmacist to support its Outpatient Clinic. This is a unique opportunity to practice meaningful pharmacy work in a mission-driven healthcare setting while gaining valuable IHS-style experience.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense outpatient prescriptions

• Provide medication counseling and patient education

• Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to support safe medication use

• Support pharmacy operations in a clinic-based setting

• Maintain compliance with applicable federal and facility regulations

Requirements

• Active Pharmacist license in any U.S. state (AZ license not required due to tribal facility)

• Minimum 1 year of hospital experience or completion of a residency

• Willingness to work in a remote tribal clinic environment

• Strong communication skills and positive, adaptable attitude

Schedule & Systems

• Typically four 10-hour shifts (8:00am–6:00pm)

• EMR: RPMS (IHS system, similar to VistA)
