A unique opportunity is available for experienced pharmacists interested in serving at a tribal clinic and hospital located in a beautiful region of Arizona. This contract role offers the chance to provide essential clinical pharmacy services in a remote setting, with a supportive team focused on quality patient care.

Openings include:

  • Two Pharmacists to operate within the Outpatient Clinic
  • One Night Shift Emergency Department Pharmacist with clinical experience, willing to obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. This role involves a true decentralized ED pharmacist position.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active pharmacist license from any state (Arizona license not required)
  • Residency or hospital experience strongly preferred
  • Clinical pharmacy background, especially for the ED role
  • Willingness to work in a remote tribal healthcare environment
  • Positive attitude and dedication to patient-centered care

Schedule:

  • Typically 10-hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM for outpatient roles
  • Night shift hours for the Emergency Department pharmacist role

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive pharmacy services in outpatient and emergency settings
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy
  • Utilize RPMS, a proprietary IT system common in tribal and federal healthcare settings
  • Support the health and wellness of a tribal community with culturally respectful practices

Housing:

  • Affordable shared housing is available on campus at approximately $400/month
  • Private bedrooms with shared bathrooms and kitchen in non-coed apartments (three residents per unit)
