Openings include:
- Two Pharmacists to operate within the Outpatient Clinic
- One Night Shift Emergency Department Pharmacist with clinical experience, willing to obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. This role involves a true decentralized ED pharmacist position.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active pharmacist license from any state (Arizona license not required)
- Residency or hospital experience strongly preferred
- Clinical pharmacy background, especially for the ED role
- Willingness to work in a remote tribal healthcare environment
- Positive attitude and dedication to patient-centered care
Schedule:
- Typically 10-hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM for outpatient roles
- Night shift hours for the Emergency Department pharmacist role
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive pharmacy services in outpatient and emergency settings
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy
- Utilize RPMS, a proprietary IT system common in tribal and federal healthcare settings
- Support the health and wellness of a tribal community with culturally respectful practices
Housing:
- Affordable shared housing is available on campus at approximately $400/month
- Private bedrooms with shared bathrooms and kitchen in non-coed apartments (three residents per unit)
