Clinical Pharmacist in Perry, OK

A 100-bed community hospital located approximately 1 to 1.5 hours north of Oklahoma City is seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to support day shift operations in a contract position. This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists who want to work in a hospital setting with a supportive team and meaningful responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently to ensure patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support their workflow
• Apply pharmacokinetics principles to optimize patient therapy
• Consult and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide clinical expertise and improve patient outcomes
• Utilize the Meditech electronic health record system as part of daily tasks

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Oklahoma pharmacist license
• Some hospital pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
• Completion or intent to pursue PGY1 residency highly desired
• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
