Clinical Pharmacist - Philadelphia, PA

A clinical pharmacist role is available on a 13-week contract at a specialty infusion pharmacy located in Philadelphia, PA. This position supports infusion services at a major university campus, with a primary focus on clinical responsibilities, including verifying prescriptions and supervising pharmacy technicians.

Schedule:

• Monday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical pharmacy functions related to home infusion therapy
• Verify and review infusion orders accurately
• Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Prepare to gown up and compound intravenous medications, as needed
• Utilize pharmacy management systems, with Brightree experience preferred

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license in good standing
• Strong experience in home infusion pharmacy practice
• Ability to safely compound IV medications and follow sterile procedures
• Detail-oriented with excellent clinical judgment
• Familiarity with infusion software systems such as Brightree is a plus but not mandatory
