An infusion pharmacist role is available on a 13-week contract at a prominent Northeast Philadelphia campus. This position primarily focuses on clinical responsibilities, including verifying medication orders and supervising pharmacy technicians, with occasional duties involving preparing intravenous medications.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical reviews and verifications of medication orders
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare IV infusions as needed, following proper aseptic techniques
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care
- Utilize pharmacy systems for documentation, preferably Brightree
Qualifications:
- Current and active Pennsylvania pharmacist license in good standing
- Demonstrated experience in home infusion pharmacy
- Ability to don protective attire and prepare IV medications safely
- Familiarity with Brightree pharmacy software preferred but not mandatory
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Northeast campus)
Schedule: Monday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
