This direct hire opportunity offers a dynamic role as a Clinical Pharmacist working across Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings, along with participation on the antibiotic stewardship team. Unlike larger hospitals where pharmacists may be restricted to a single specialty floor, this position allows for broader clinical exposure and skill development by managing patients on multiple critical care units. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform medication order entry and verification, ensuring appropriateness through comprehensive medication profile reviews.
  • Deliver clinical pharmacy services tailored to the specific needs of ED and ICU patient populations.
  • Provide drug information and participate actively in multi-disciplinary rounds as assigned.
  • Monitor drug therapy and manage pharmacist-led consults according to established protocols.
  • Engage in acute patient care scenarios, including cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma events.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
  • Completion of PGY1 residency or minimum three years of current clinical pharmacy experience.
  • Licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania or eligible to obtain licensure.
  • Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record system is advantageous.

Schedule:

  • Variable days and afternoon shifts, primarily 8-hour day shifts.

Benefits include competitive compensation ranging between $108,000 and $169,000 annually (midpoint $139,000), with potential relocation assistance on a case-by-case basis.
