Pediatric Pharmacist. Day Shift

We’re seeking an experienced Pediatrics Pharmacist to join a hospital pharmacy team in Pittsburgh, PA!

• Schedule: 5x8s; Day-shift
• Start: ASAP
• Setting: Inpatient Pediatrics 
• Type: 13-week contract-to-hire
• System: EPIC

Responsibilities

• Verify pediatric medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety

• Review patient profiles, medical histories, and clinical information

• Perform pediatric pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring

• Consult with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

• Provide clinical pharmacy services and medication recommendations

• Support safe and timely medication distribution

• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians

• Ensure medications are dosed and prepared appropriately for pediatric patients

Requirements

• PA Pharmacist License

• 1+ years of inpatient pharmacist experience OR completion of a pharmacy residency

• Pediatric pharmacy experience 

• Ability to start ASAP

• Full-time availability
