Clinical Pharmacist in Portland, OR

A position is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy services with a focus on medication management and patient safety. This contract role offers an opportunity to contribute your expertise in a busy healthcare setting utilizing Cerner and Pyxis systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing and verifying medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy plans
• Monitoring patient responses and adjusting medications as necessary
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
• Participating in medication use evaluations and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Oregon Pharmacist License
• Experience working in an inpatient or hospital pharmacy environment preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable days and afternoon shifts to meet patient care needs
• Immediate start with a contract length of 13 weeks or longer
