Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders and perform accurate order entry
• Manage IV medications, including pain-controlled analgesia and antibiotics
• Monitor drug interactions to ensure patient safety
• Support chemotherapy medication processes and anticoagulant management (preferred)
• Apply pharmacokinetic and renal dosing principles (preferred)
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system for accurate charting and documentation

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience is required
• Strong experience with IV medications, pain control, antibiotics, drug interactions, and medication order verification
• Preferred experience includes chemotherapy, anticoagulants, pharmacokinetic dosing, and renal dosing
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system is mandatory
• Travel experience preferred, demonstrating the flexibility to adapt to new work environments quickly
