A 200-bed hospital in the Philadelphia suburbs is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join their team for a contract position starting immediately. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing expert pharmaceutical care to support patient outcomes.

Location:

• Philadelphia suburban area, Pottstown, PA

Schedule:

• 13+ weeks contract
• 8-hour day shifts

Responsibilities:

• Conduct order verification to ensure accurate medication dispensing
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient pharmacy operations
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to provide pharmaceutical consultations
• Apply pharmacokinetics principles to optimize patient medication therapy
• Support clinical initiatives and contribute to safe medication use

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• Experience working in a hospital setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
