Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist in Queens Village, NY

This per diem opportunity is ideal for an experienced clinical pharmacist interested in serving a dynamic community in a highly populated Hasidic Jewish neighborhood. The role is based in Queens Village, NY, at a newer outpatient pharmacy with a manageable prescription volume, supported by pharmacy technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all typical outpatient and retail pharmacy duties, including accurate filling and dispensing of prescriptions.
• Provide patient consultations to ensure safe and effective medication use.
• Manage pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth daily operations.
• Administer immunizations, requiring current NYS immunization privileges.
• Open and close the pharmacy confidently, demonstrating strong retail pharmacy experience.

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Proven retail pharmacy background, particularly with opening and closing responsibilities.
• Ability to interact thoughtfully with a culturally unique patient base.
• Experience with Rx30 pharmacy software is highly preferred but not mandatory.
• NYS immunization privileges are required to administer vaccinations.

Shift Schedule:

• Saturday 5/16, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM
• Saturday 5/23, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM
• Saturday 5/30, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
