A per diem clinical pharmacist opportunity is available in a vibrant Queens Village location, serving a highly populated Hasidic Jewish community. This site features a newer pharmacy setting with manageable prescription volume and dedicated technician support, creating an ideal environment for focused outpatient care.
Schedule:
- Saturday 5/16, 4 PM – 12 AM
- Saturday 5/23, 4 PM – 12 AM
- Saturday 5/30, 10 AM – 6 PM
Pharmacists with experience using Rx30 software are highly preferred, though not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fill and dispense prescriptions accurately in an outpatient/retail setting
- Counsel patients to ensure safe and effective medication use
- Manage pharmacy technicians during shifts
- Administer immunizations (NYS immunization privilege required)
- Open and close the pharmacy to maintain operational standards
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior retail pharmacy experience, specifically with opening and closing responsibilities
- Valid NYS pharmacist license and immunization privileges
- Strong communication skills for patient interaction within a culturally specific community
- Familiarity with Rx30 software preferred but not mandatory
