Pharmacist Clinical | Racine, Wisconsin

A healthcare facility in Racine, WI is seeking experienced inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract starting June 8. This role demands strong clinical pharmacy skills to support acute care patients in a dynamic inpatient setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing pharmacotherapy for diverse medical conditions
• Applying pharmacokinetic and renal dosing principles
• Monitoring therapeutic medication levels
• Handling drug shortages effectively
• Utilizing EPIC electronic medical records for patient care documentation
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize medication use

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient or acute care pharmacy experience
• Licensed to practice pharmacy in Wisconsin (ACT-10 license accepted)
• Competence in therapeutic medication monitoring and pharmacotherapy management
• Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred

Schedule:

• Rotating 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each
• Mix of day shifts (6:30 AM–3:00 PM) and evening shifts (2:30 PM–11:00 PM)
• Rotation includes working every third weekend

Important Notes:

• Travelers must be able to shave properly for mask fit testing; no exceptions allowed regarding the use of personal PAPRs or CAPRs
• Scrubs will be provided upon start
