A hospital in Madison, WI is seeking experienced inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract position beginning June 8th. This role offers a blend of day and evening shifts, with a rotating weekend schedule, tailored for pharmacists skilled in clinical inpatient care.
Schedule & Hours:
- Five 8-hour shifts per week
- Days: 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Evenings: 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
- Rotating every 3rd weekend
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient hospital setting
- Manage pharmacokinetic and renal dosing requirements
- Conduct therapeutic medication monitoring
- Address drug shortage management proactively
- Deliver pharmacotherapy management for various medical conditions
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for medication and patient data management
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient or acute care pharmacy experience
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records
- Proficient in pharmacokinetics, renal dosing, and therapeutic drug monitoring
- Licensed to practice pharmacy in Wisconsin (ACT-10 license permitted)
Additional Requirements:
- Must shave to pass mask fit testing; use of personal CAPRs or PAPRs is not allowed
- Facility-provided scrubs issued upon start of assignment
