Per Diem Pharmacist Clinical | Raleigh, North Carolina

Provide expert clinical pharmaceutical care as a Home Infusion Pharmacist in a per diem capacity. This role supports home infusion therapy by ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance in sterile compounding processes and delivery oversight from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify pharmaceutical products entering the clean room for sterile compounding according to batch records.
• Perform final checks on compounded sterile preparations (CSP) including labels, drug amounts, and materials.
• Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy, including medical supplies on delivery tickets.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, field nurses, and patients regarding drug regimens, inventory, reactions, and lab results.
• Conduct patient outreach calls to schedule deliveries, review medication inventory, and monitor compliance.
• Handle inquiries from medical offices, nursing agencies, and patients professionally.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; PharmD or Master’s degree preferred.
• Current registered pharmacist license in North Carolina.
• Minimum two years recent acute-care experience or one year in home infusion therapy.
• Proficient knowledge of intravenous admixture services and intravenous therapy.
• Must be experienced in using CPR+ software to manage sterile compounding processes.

Schedule & Coverage Periods:

• Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
• Coverage needed for the following dates: April 14–22, June 13–25, July 29–August 5.
