Clinical Pharmacist | Reading, Pennsylvania

A 200-bed hospital located in the Philadelphia suburbs is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join their team on an immediate basis. This contract position offers a 13-week assignment with 8-hour day shifts, providing an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist with hospital experience to contribute to patient care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Order verification and medication dispensing accuracy
• Supervising and mentoring pharmacy technicians
• Collaborating and consulting with physicians and nursing staff to optimize medication therapy
• Managing pharmacokinetics-related tasks and therapeutic drug monitoring
• Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license is required
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
