Clinical Pharmacist in Reno, NV

This opportunity is for a Clinical Pharmacist to work night shifts in a 175-bed hospital environment. The role requires a dedicated professional with hospital experience who can manage a variety of clinical and supervisory responsibilities.

Location:

• Reno, NV

Schedule:

• Nights, 7 days on, 7 days off
• 10-hour shifts

Duration:

• Contract role for 13 weeks or longer
• Start date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technician activities to ensure quality and compliance
• Consult with physicians and nurses regarding patient care and medication management
• Monitor pharmacokinetics and adjust therapies as needed
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Nevada pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience, particularly in a clinical setting
• Comfortable and available to work night shifts
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
