This opportunity seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy distribution functions in a dynamic healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders using Epic.
• Conduct final product verification checks to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Provide expert answers to clinical questions and drug information inquiries.
• Supervise pharmacy technician activities to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Participate in Code Blue and emergency response situations as needed.
• Utilize IT systems including Epic and Pyxis to manage pharmacy operations.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with clinical pharmacy experience.
• Prior exposure to chemotherapy/oncology treatments highly preferred.
• Proficiency with hospital pharmacy IT systems, especially Epic and Pyxis.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities under pressure and respond to emergency scenarios.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to oversee pharmacy technicians effectively.

• Renton, WA area.

Schedule:

• Variable days/afternoons.
• 8-hour shifts.

This contract role is set for approximately 16 weeks with the potential to transition into a permanent position (temp-to-hire). Candidates who bring oncology knowledge will be given high preference.
