A permanent opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to serve as a unit-based clinical specialist working across Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings. This role offers a unique chance to develop diverse clinical skills by engaging with multiple patient care areas, including critical care and antibiotic stewardship, rather than being limited to a single floor.

Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and enter medication orders, review medication profiles for appropriateness, and deliver clinical pharmacy services tailored to patient needs.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams during rounds in assigned practice areas.
- Monitor drug therapy and perform pharmacist-managed consults according to established protocols.
- Participate actively in acute patient care situations, including cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma cases.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Postgraduate Year 1 residency (PGY1) or a minimum of three years clinical pharmacy experience.
- Pennsylvania pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
Schedule:
- Primarily day shifts with variable days and afternoons.
- 8-hour shifts.
Technology: Meditech electronic health records system.
