Hospital Pharmacist

We're seeking an experienced Hospital Pharmacist for an urgent 13+ week contract opportunity in the Lynchburg, VA area. This is a day-shift position at a small LTAC hospital with a low daily census, offering a great opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment. Assignment Details:

• 13+ week contract
• Monday-Friday
• Day shift
• ASAP start
• Small LTAC hospital (~10 patient daily census)

Responsibilities:

• Verify and dispense medications accurately
• Review medication orders for appropriateness and safety
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor patient medication therapies and recommend interventions
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and hospital regulations
• Support daily inpatient pharmacy operations

Requirements:

• Active Virginia Pharmacist license
• Recent hospital pharmacist experience
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to begin assignment quickly
