A permanent opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to provide critical pharmaceutical care across multiple units including the Emergency Department (ED), Critical Care Unit (CCU), and the antibiotic stewardship team. Responsibilities:
- Enter and verify medication orders while conducting thorough medication profile reviews for appropriateness.
- Deliver clinical services tailored to the unique needs of patients in ED, ICU, and other specialized units.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborative patient care teams.
- Perform drug therapy monitoring and manage consults according to established protocols.
- Support acute patient care scenarios including cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, trauma, and more.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
- PGY1 residency or a minimum of three years’ clinical pharmacy experience.
- Hold or be eligible to obtain a PA pharmacist license; candidates without an active PA license are encouraged to apply.
- Experience working with Meditech or similar healthcare IT systems is preferred.
Schedule:
- Primarily day shifts with some variable days and afternoons.
- 8-hour shifts focused on maintaining work-life balance.
