A clinical pharmacist position is available for a 13-week contract at a 250-bed hospital in Rolla, MO. This role focuses on critical staffing responsibilities, ensuring smooth pharmacy operations within a hospital setting utilizing EPIC and Omnicell systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Order verification with accuracy and adherence to protocols
- Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
- Performing pharmacokinetics evaluations as needed
- Consulting regularly with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
Qualifications:
- Valid Missouri pharmacist license
- Prior experience in a hospital environment preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC and Omnicell systems is highly advantageous
- Strong communication skills for effective interdisciplinary collaboration
